We have taken delivery of a 1975 Kombi.

The Kombi is originally from the UK and was a yellow Ambulance. I have a record of it being sold on the 16th May 1987 as a camper to the owner who brought it out to New Zealand (UK registration KRO354P). It was certified for New Zealand roads on the 13th June 1988. I have not completely gone right through all the records as yet but understand that it had the one owner for 25 years before being sold and restored by the gentleman I purchased it from. I have records of the service it has had in the UK and here in New Zealand along with copies of Warrant of Fitness and receipts of work done on it recently. It is an absolute gem.

The morning after receiving the Kombi I woke to find my two girls Michelle and Abbie in the Kombi with books and DVD's looking like they found themselves a new playroom. The Kombi has a good stereo that streams music from a bluetooth device along with handsfree calling, drop down DVD player with wireless headphones, fridge, stove, table, internal lights, rock n roll seat that folds down to create a double bed, pop top roof for sleeping up top, curtains and carpets. The internal electrics run off a house battery so you don't need to worry about running down the car battery. Came complete with orange cups, plates and bowls, even an orange brush and shovel.
